h3 treated lvl

H3 treated LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) is a type of wood product that is commonly used in modern construction. It is a high-strength engineered wood, which means that it is made by bonding together thin layers of wood veneers using adhesives. H3 refers to the level of preservative treatment that has been applied to the wood, which provides protection against decay and insect damage. This treatment makes H3 treated LVL a popular choice for outdoor applications such as decking, structural framing, and landscaping. It is also used for indoor applications such as flooring, stairs, and roof decking. H3 treated LVL is a strong and durable building material that has become increasingly popular due to its sustainability and environmental benefits.

Laminated Veneer Lumber LVL is a high-strength engineered wood product used primarily for structural applications as a building material. It is comparable in strength to solid timber, concrete and steel and is manufactured by bonding together rotary peeled or sliced thin wood veneers under heat and pressure.

This is structural laminated veneer lumber (LVL) which has been manufactured in accordance with AS/NZS 4357 with properties determined in accordance with AS/NZS 4063.2 and therefore complies with the requirements for structural design in accordance with AS1720.1.

LVLs are easy to work with using traditional building tools and is clearly branded for easy identification. Readily available in long continuous lengths and thicknesses including 35mm, 45mm, 63mm and 75mm and section depths from 90mm to 600mm.

structural beams lvl

Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) beam is crafted from rotary-peeled veneers that undergo drying, sorting, bonding, pressing, and cutting into their final form, offering high strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability.

LVL timber beams find versatile applications throughout entire buildings. They can be swiftly assembled on-site, reducing the burden of heavy lifting.

As an engineered wood product, 90x45 LVL exhibits minimal shrinkage or warping, capable of spanning longer distances and supporting heavier loads compared to traditional timber.

LVL Timber Beams Features

• Its high-strength cross-section enables the creation of slender, elegantly robust structures.

• With low expansion and contraction rates, there are minimal drying losses.

• Exceptional elasticity reduces material weight, preventing settling.

• The efficient use of wood fibers enhances its environmental credentials, making lvl engineered timber highly suitable for prefabrication.
